EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS ISPO 2019 – KARL MAYER 2019

3 – 6 February 2019 / Munich

KARL MAYER will exhibit as an ambassador for warp knitting at ISPO Munich. With our booth in Hall C4 we will be positioned directly in the centre of the exhibition’s idea hub. Surrounded by the most up-to-date fabrics, cuts and accessories, we demonstrate the performance of warp knitted textiles on 120 m².

At ISPO 2019, at Stand 408 in Hall C4, we will show innovative applications and concepts for warp knitted textiles – especially solutions for advanced functional textiles within the sectors of performance sportswear, athleisure and e-textiles.

EXHIBITION TREND TOPICS

  • Performance Sportswear: We will show new applications with directly incorporated functional zones providing breathability and compression (body mapping).
  • LEISUREE.FASHION: Our solution for functional fabrics with decorative lingerie elements, developed for the use in athleisure, comfortable outerwear and lingerie.
  • TEXTILE-CIRCUIT: Under this term we present how to use the technology of warp knitting to integrate functionality into your textile product by using tailored fibre placement of functional yarns directly in the textile production process. We are looking forward to meet you!

TEXTILE-CIRCUIT : Create your e-textile with TEXTILE-CIRCUIT

TEXTILE-CIRCUIT is your opportunity of integrating functionality into your textile product. With our technology we provide the possibility to use tailored fiber placement of functional yarns directly in the textile production process.

Textile remote control

This textile remote control is done on a Multibar-machine of KARL MAYER. The conductive threads form bottons that send a signal to the robot while being touched. The functions can be integrated to different ground structures that might be rigid or elastic.

Inductive charging – Development of textile circuit

This textile structure can be used for inductive charging. The spool consists of 16 windings and measures 5cm (2”). It is made on a Multibar-machine. The windings are formed by isolated copper wires that are directly applied during the production process. The ground structure can be modified for variation in its flexibility
