As you may have surely noticed, the Coronavirus Covid-19 started to spread quickly all over Europe in the last days.
Here in Italy, some areas like Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna have been seriously affected, and last Sunday night our Government, maybe with low care of media, socialnet and broadcast management, but surely with high degree of responsibility, acted carefully to help the situation, trying to reduce the congestion of the public healthcare (the best healthcare of Italy and probably Europe!).
As of now, in our town and surroundings, we have no massive cases, but the situation is affecting our regional hospitals (even with people from out) so our Lombardy region (and other parts of Northern Italy) were closed into an “Orange Area”, trying to contain the spread of this virus.
I hope this could help, because the real problems are the hospitals overcrowded and the economic impact.
We want to assure you that we already took our measures and, where possible, some of our employee are working in “smart working” from their homes.
Production is going on working as standard and our supply chain has been not affected due to the fact that most of our suppliers are local. Goods and materials are allowed to move freely in all Italy, even in and out Orange areas.
People can move and go to work without any constriction (inside the area), but they are suggested to move less.
We are constantly monitoring the situation, and our focus remains the aim to give you our best support in order to continue serving you.
