Production volume and scale are expected to increase in stages in the future. TD Automotive Compressor Kunshan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called TACK) and Yantai Shougang TD Automotive Compressor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called YST), the company&#8217;s compressor production sites in China, will install new production lines for the manufacture and supply of electric compressors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Use of electric compressors has grown for electrified vehicles including hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles and production volume is growing each year. Since pioneering electric compressors mass production in 2003, Toyota Industries has established a solid position as the global market-share leader, increasing production with growth of the market and manufacturing roughly 20 million units to date. With the rapid expansion of electrified vehicles in China, the world&#8217;s largest motor vehicle market, especially in response to NEV regulations, Toyota Industries plans to take advantage of the strong demand through greater localized production.
